The Velvet Princess has quality vintage and upcycled clothing and accessories that will help you celebrate the art of dressing. Dressing is meant to be fun. It is a way to express all of the different sides of you. We are creating costumes for living. What you wear changes the way you enter a room. Your wardrobe needs to bring out all the aspects of your character at an affordable price in a sustainable way.

The curation of my collection is based on quality as well as style. All clothing is cleaned and pressed. All minor flaws will be pointed out to the best of my ability in the description. I want you to receive the best product I can offer. The vintage clothing has been enjoyed before but always in good wearable condition.

Today I found a hanky in the pocket of a vintage dress I was pressing. When I am working on a garment I ponder who the original owner might have been. Was it her favorite? I think about who will buy it. Where will she wear it? Hoping your new piece of clothing lifts your spirits and helps you embrace your beauty!
I was a costume designer for many years in the entertainment industry. Finding the perfect clothing for a character is a thrill. Now my joy comes from finding a perfect item that will bring out the character in YOU!
